CO-DESIGN IN ACTION

Kids “Five To Thrive”

Giving children the best start in life is vital, with much of their development shaped before age seven. In Inala, one of Queensland’s most disadvantaged areas, local health, education, and social care providers came together to address this challenge.

Despite initial enthusiasm, a shared language was lacking. After many sessions, the Five to Thrive approach was born. Inala Primary Care, the only general practice involved, helped clarify general practice’s role and navigate complex dynamics—using collaboration, creativity, and practical tools to drive progress.

Using the Co.Design4All framework, meant they had all of tools necessary to harness the energy of others to achieve good results for local kids..
